Woodcroft Rainout Policy

Games will be postponed if : a) there is lightning, b) it is raining more than a light shower, or c) the fields are soaked and will be damaged by play or present a safety risk, regardless of weather conditions. We are privileged to be allowed use the fields owned and maintained by the Woodcroft Community Association and the City of Durham, and we must take care of them.

For practices at Woodcroft, it is the coach's responsibility to decide whether or not to cancel due to weather or field conditions and to notify players. There will be no announcement on the voicemail. In making a decision, coaches should take care to ensure the safety of their players and to preserve the condition of the field. The Woodcroft Community Association also may post signs that the fields are closed. If so, do not practice.

For practices at Githens, their management will make decisions about whether or not to close the fields.

If you have any question about whether the cancellation information is correct or up-to-date, please call the WAA voicemail (419-0833).

Make-up Schedule Notes

Due to scheduling difficulties with Woodcroft, all make-up games will be rescheduled by e-mail.
